However, commentary that is intended to "flame" or attack, that contains violence, racist comments and potential libel will not be published. Facts are helpful.

I think adults will be more traumatized than kids.

ReplyDeleteBe sure to give brief, simple answers. Express your own emotions -- explain that grownups need to cry sometimes, too. And most of all, avoid euphemisms. Keep it as simple as possible. Like this, "Elmo is very, very old and his battery didn't work anymore so the nice family threw him away." Be reassuring, explain that you would never do that to them if they were to get the flu.
