Memorial planned for longtime East Village resident Don Holley on Saturday



Don Holley, a beloved champion of the East Village, was struck and killed by a car upstate on Jan. 6. He was 62.

This Saturday from 4 p.m.-6 p.m., his friends and loved ones will hold a memorial in his honor at Nublu, 62 Avenue C between East Fourth Street and East Fifth Street.

  2. Thanks, G for posting, ive been checking paper, internet for the memorial. I hope there is a big turn out, so his sons can see how loved Don was by the community.

  3. It was a lovely, Don-like, memorial. Sad to see so many grieving friends and family but also wonderful to see Don's community together in one place. It was, yes, packed for hours. Don stories were told. If there was a theme: It was "We miss Don."
