    Okay, I headed over to Coyote Ugly in my thong and cowboy boots and only got about a block before I had to turn back. It's just too cold out there. Why couldn't they have posted this ad in the summer?

    It's a bartending job, you don't audition for bartending jobs. Although there are people who take night bartending jobs so they can go to actual, real auditions during the day.

    The Oxford Dictionary says an audition is "an interview for a particular role or job as a singer, actor, dancer, or musician, consisting of a practical demonstration of the candidate’s suitability and skill." Not a job tending bar. See also: "lipstick on a pig."

    I have never gone inside, but it is my understanding the bartenders do sexy dances on top of the bar, which the auditions would be for.
