And that concludes 'Dirty Old New York'

In the past two years, Jonathan Hertzberg has mashed-up movie clips from the 1960s-1980s for a series titled "Dirty Old New York, aka Fun City."

He just released No. 5, the last installment of his series. You can watch it right here. (FYI — there are a few boob shots, just maybe a little NSFW.)

Check out Jonathan's blog for the complete list of all the movies he featured in this video.

Jeremiah talked with Hertzberg last August. You can read that here.

You can find the "Dirty Old New York" parts 1-4 right here.

  1. Wonderful...wondering, in this new day and age, did he (the filmmaker) obtain rights or make payment to the film companies or clips he used?- or is it an 'underground ripped clip thingy-Because when I try to exhibit anything I worked on as an editor up on youtube, they pull it down-claiming some else owns the copyright...sheesh..I'm the editor of the piece...I don't own it - but in this new age, can't exhibit it!

  4. The music in the memorial clip is Mikis Theodorakis' "Theme from Serpico."
