The old transformer was pieced out months ago by a specialized company... (That did an excellent job I might add). Coned did that so they wouldn't inconvenience neighbors with road closures, big cranes, excessive noise, etc...
DeleteThere are several transformers at this location nearing their end of life. Coned is simply upgrading the transformers to help continue reliable service to those that are fed electricity by this substation. A necessary inconvenience to keep the lights on :)
