ReplyDeleteI seem to recall that John Paul II couldn't be bothered detouring over to St Stanislaus from Broadway, on his little Popemobile tour of Manhattan, even though the parishioners begged him to and had a sign up welcoming him and sat around hoping he'd show. Phooey on him, and I'm very much against this bogus saintmaking anyway.
