Rave like it's 1999 in Tompkins Square Park



Dunno much about this undated video from 1999 … a reader came across it the other day.



Worth noting: The boy's reaction at the 51-second mark … and the introduction of who is presumably the "Rave Santa" in the title at the 1:26 point.

    Classic. EV Grieve could have made a fortune selling dance lessons that day. Some of those moves look like a cross between a zombie apocalypse and an epileptic seizure. But the old guy with the whire beard has some of the best moves out there, at least he's dancing to the beat.

    Do you write for the official Peter Cooper Village Stuyvesant Town FB page as well?

    Example-Official management 10/2/14 FB post for a late 1940's photo of the construction of PCVST with the Empire State in the background:

    "Happy Throwback Thursday! We don't have an exact year for this one but this was taken in the mid-1940s when Stuytown was being built. How cool is that view of the Empire State building? At that time the ESB was only about 15 years old and it was the tallest building in the world!"

    an awesome dick. fun guy. former navy seal. threw fish food all over my head when i was swimming with goldfish in a mountain pond. ive only hung out with him for a weekend but it was enuf hahaha
