East 14th Street Santa watch is on

The RV arrived Sunday evening here at First Avenue… the trees on Wednesday.

Santa likely won't be here until after the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Seeing as there is only one Santa.

  1. Why do these fuckers get the right to block sidewalks with their fucken tree? Why doesn't the TAXPAYER get some of these proceeds? Or does it go into some NYPD employee's pockets?

  2. Many tree selling locations pay money to the Parks Department. Usually around $10,000 to $30,000 for the prime spots.

For locations that aren't under the Parks department, Mayor LaGuardia signed a rule/law that says you don't need a license to sell Christmas trees.
