Coffee and breakfast will live here



Dave on 7th is keeping a watchful eye on 178 E. Seventh St., where Korzo Haus recently left… all we know so far is that it will be a coffee shop with some breakfast foods to go here just west of Avenue B…

The sign on the door for the post office reads "This is where C&B/Coffee and Breakfast LLC Lives."

    "lives" instead of "is located"? I swear this latest generation is infantile.

    I actually heard that expression used for years on movie/commercial sets, usually by art dept people about props...as in "the ash tray will live here." For continuity.

    I'm feeling like the sign was written by someone whose command of English isn't great. I'm willing to give them a break as this place could turn out to be normal place to pick up something to eat. I would hate to see it pull business from Paradiso around the corner which is great.
