Saint's Alp Teahouse closes for a revamp

Saint's Alp Teahouse at 39 Third Ave. near East Ninth Street closed after business on Saturday… it's just for what the detailed sign on the door describes as "a minor renovation" …

That's about as detailed as a closed for renovation sign gets… Meanwhile, follow them on Facebook or Twitter for reopening news.

Saint's Alp last closed for a renovation back in May 2010.

  1. Don't most businesses close every few years to do gut renovations? No?

  2. Hi EV Grieve. Saint's Alp will be closed for about two weeks for a revamp, which is hard on me because I am a regular, and I love the bubble tea they serve!

  3. I think I remember them being closed just a few years back for the same thing... not that I've ever stepped foot inside.

  4. The sign said it would close for two weeks starting January 17th. I just walked by (Tues. afternoon 1/20) and looked in, there is no activity whatsoever taking place inside. You'd think that by the third day something would be happening.

  5. Can someone explain why it isn't Saint Alp's?

  6. Jill, Saint's Alp Teahouse is part of a chain of teahouses that originated in Hong Kong. So Saint's Alp might be a place in Asia? I don't know the answer. I do wonder!
