Like the Farmer's markets, EV Cheese, and EV Meat - Sunrise Mart is essential to what's left of this neighborhood.

  3. I am surprised Hi-Collar didn't get a mention. The place serves great food and coffee during the day and transforms into a sake bar at night. It's on 10th Street between 1st and Second Avenues.

Also, the tiny K2 Salon across the street is a great place to get a haircut.

  5. Little Tokyo rules. A noticeable omission in the article was Minca ramen on 5th st.
