  2. Judith Malina co-founder of the Living Theater with Julian Beck died. Judith was not only an East Village Icon but an international legend as well. The NY Times thought her death was notable and wrote a very long obit which was the leading obit for the day. Goodbye Judith... many will miss you and the revolutionary art you brought to the East Village, the LES and the World.
