Minding the 'STOP No Roof Access' sign
Spotted on East 11th Street between Avenue A and First Avenue… propped against a tree … and later discarded on the sidewalk…

Hahah. When you rent to fratties, expect such poor behavior. Look at how desperate the wording sounds. It's like a step-father trying to control his unruly step-kids. Not gonna happen.
ReplyDeleteGeeeez.....sure hope there's a Santa clause in that lease agreement!
ReplyDeleteSeriously. Roofs were never an issue before the fucking fratties and their loud ass talking and chanting. Now they make a huge scene and ruin it for everyone.
ReplyDeleteRoofs have always been an issue, as will be again witnessed for 4th of fireworks which after absence will be again on East Side. Try telling someone they cannot go up on the roof! Or that they cannot use their fire escape for their hibachi! Or that they cannot hang out in hot weather smoking on fire escape! try explaining that the hallway is not for their personal storage space! (sorry got carried away that actually involves another post)
ReplyDeleteIt's all fun and games until some drunken kid dances their ass off the edge of the roof. But that never happens, right?
ReplyDeleteRoofs weren't an issue when people were discreetly using them. Now it's a kiddie pool full of Bud Light, 14 grills and a contest to see if the bros can leap across the street from one roof to another. That last part I don't mind.
ReplyDeleteDiscreetly using them? You mean completely disabling the emergency push bar so that the door would not go beep beep siren loud when opened? Who do you think the frat boys copied their moves from? or are you awarding them points for originality?
ReplyDeleteDiscreet = quietly enjoying a glass of wine.
ReplyDeleteRemember when people would go up on the roof with a beach chair to get a tan, read a book, and bother absolutely no one? Neither do I.
ReplyDeleteWe've been going on the roof of our building for years but we're not loud, don't smoke or do anything else that would attract attention. It gets so hot in the summer so the breeze is nice. We don't however invite 20 people over for a beer pong festival or set up a BBQ pit.
ReplyDeleteJakobson are the biggest slimes, they have to do this to cover their ass, don't think they care.
ReplyDeleteUmmmm we had someone fall off our roof, whon didnt make it one saturday night not too long ago... in a building's roof i used discretely for years. Now if you go within 10 feet of it, the worst alarm sound than any bros.. so really im torn on the issue.
