  2. It's good for EVG to bring up the subject. They speak of this guy as being the 9 billion dollar man. Now are they taking his liabilities into consideration as they calculate this figure? One could have assets worth 9 billion owe 8 and really only own 1 billion. I wonder what the real math is like in this guy's case?

Does anyone ever concern themselves with how many times in the past the banks have had to bail out this guy because he swindled them into taking too much of their money and if they let him fail they would loose it all?

How about the public enterprises he starts and opens to lure in public investment and then wipes all the investors out by mismanagement closes the companies and takes everyone's money?

Or how about the final 10% he never pays to any of his contractors who do work for him?

It's great when you can gain wealth by scamming and skeaming but is that what we Really Need in this country?

  5. While we're on the subject of property developers... Can someone please tell me why the building being constructed in the middle of the block on 9th between 1st & 2nd is still getting away with fake "No Parking" signs in front of their project? Don't you need something more official - and expensive - than a bunch of signs purchased at the hardware store?

  7. Trump's son in law is Jared Kushner, mean E landlord and owner of The Observer (to proselytize the agenda of big real estate). Jared's father is ex-con Charles Kushnr.

  8. I keep thinking such things are in jest. Sarcasm , but they are not. This new NY is full of things that make me queasy. I had a woman call me crazy for mentioning she should try walking on the right hand side of the sidewalk, because it was fun. The number of self important and inconsiderate, poorly educated people that are now living here is disappointing , at best.

The sign wasn't exactly "sarcasm," but "irony," obviously intendend to provoke thought through humor.

Walking on the right-hand side of the sidewalk is a common civil "rule of the road" for pedestrians; not done for "fun," which sounds like sarcasm.

"Who," not "that," is used in reference to people, as in, "The number of self important and inconsiderate, poorly educated people WHO . . ."

The "douchebros" aren't the ones that read the NY Post every single day in the neighborhood.
