East Village Vintage Collective opens today on East 12th Street

The shop opened today at 545 E. 12th St. between Avenue A and Avenue B.

Here's their description via Instagram: "Vintage clothing for women, men & kids, records, books, home goods & so much more."

There's a grand opening party this evening from 7-10 featuring 20 percent off everything in stock.

  1. Met one of the owners last week, cute gal from Kansas. I liked her spirit and hope they do well. And that was my positive post for today.

  2. The collective did a bang up job pulling this storefront together and I suggest everyone check it out. Choice things in all categories, and really great people behind it. This is the kind of store that has all but vanished from the hood, let's support them.

  3. I'll go in just to ogle that vintage 1970s 'disco' sign and fondly remember the days when I was limber enough to dance (altho I was more likely to be found at CB's pogoing rather than at Studio 54 attempting to maneuver my way through The Hustle, just for the record).

  4. Checked out their store party last night. This store looks like it's been here for at least a month, wouldn't think that they just opened. Was pleasantly surprised at their low prices. Everyone seemed pretty friendly too. Wish them the best. The neighborhood needs something like this.

  7. I live on the block and will drop by this week. I am excited to have a new vintage store in the neighborhood. There used to be so many, and now they are rare.

  8. Awesome shop with cool people, nice, interesting inventory, and fair prices. Welcome. How lovely to see a group of young professional female sisters doing it for themselves. Bravo. We wish you great success!

  9. I read this post over the weekend and finally stopped in today - AWESOME STORE!! Glad to see you guys in the neighborhood. Such a clever idea for several of you to combine forces and collaborate on something like this - gives the store a great energy, and a huge collection of goods too! I love the top I bought, and will definitely be back for one or two of the 30 other things I wanted to buy, ha! Congrats and good luck!
