Maybe if they didn't paint it shit brown it wouldn't get tagged so much. Or hire a muralist.
ReplyDeleteDoT announced this morning that they're cutting their graffiti removal program due to budget cuts. Looking forward to graffiti all over those glassy, overpriced, ugly, "luxury" condos!

Gee 3:16pm I'm guessing the vandals did their graf without getting caught by the police/the police being around. That's when they usually hit walls.
ReplyDeletei live on this block and i must say, it's mind-boggling that Verizon hasnt tried to add to the culture of the neighborhood by hiring a muralist. while SOME a$$hole taggers do paint over murals (like the joe strummer one), most artists respect the work and leave it alone. it's a win-win. i strongly advocate that they consider this approach.
