A London Calling tribute
Joe Strummer died 14 years ago today... and at the mural of the frontman for the Clash outside Niagara on Seventh Street and Avenue A, someone has left two candles and a London Calling (the cover shot at the Palladium on 14th Street) T-shirt in tribute...

ReplyDeleteMiss you Joe. I'm not even a huge Clash fan. But always appreciated his voice and attitude. And of course the iconic hit songs he wrote that are still played on the radio in 2016. One in a very select class of truly cool rock stars.
