...and the tree vendors are wrapping up another season in the neighborhood... here's a photo of Jonathan Papillon Blanc, who has been selling here the past six years. This time around, he was on Second Avenue at Seventh Street, away from his usual spot in front of the Rite Aid on First Avenue and Fifth Street (construction next door prompted the move)...

This is who Idon't go to the Union Sq. They're anymore, too many crazy and rude people and too hard to get out if anything happens. People literally jumped out of their shoes and left everything behind in the panic. Luckily nothing happened, at least not this time. And the staff could care less, they even made fun of people for panicking that they thought another Autora shooting was about to happen. Stick to smaller venues with smaller crowds and you'll be much safer.
ReplyDeleteHave to say I'm a bit uncomfortable about all the Christmas tress lined up for sale, and lights / decorations on the fence behind which there are still memorials to 2 men who died there tragically.
