Councilman Luis Velez says Alex Mendez threatened him with physical violence following a lively council meeting that ended early Wednesday morning.
Velez said Mendez allegedly called him an “asshole” and told him, “You keep on messing with me, I’m going to f*ck you up.” He said Mendez also allegedly called him a “punk” in Spanish.
