    When I went by the line had snaked around the corner onto 9th Street and was halfway up to 3rd Avenue.

    kids will stand in/on a line and stare at their phones for absolutely ANYTHING as long as they can post the lame/idiotic/flavorless ticket/object/food to their social media to let their friends/followers who are also in/on a line elsewhere in the city have something to look at on their social media...
