Frisson Espresso opens today on 3rd Avenue

Today's the opening day for the coffee shop on the west side of Third Avenue between Ninth Street and 10th Street.

This is the second NYC location for Frisson Espresso, whose first outpost debuted on West 47th Street in December 2014.

    Probably the most uninviting of all the new coffee places judging by this picture. Maybe another angle will give a different impression, but this looks cold and lifeless.

    The floor is cool. The countertops should've been black along with the chairs.

    This place seems like a no-nonsense oldschool drink, talk, phone then go, no laptop/office setups.
