Cookie Walk this way this weekend

The 10th Annual Cookie Walk is set for this coming Saturday (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and Sunday (noon to 3 p.m.) at St. Nicholas of Myra Orthodox Church on Avenue A and 10th Street.

And here's how it works via the Church's website:

Our Cookie Team bakes over 70,000 holiday confections — about 75 varieties. What makes the Cookie Walk unique is that you are in charge. You “take a walk” around tables ladened with cookies and hand-pick your favorites to fill an empty box. There are two sizes of boxes to fill: $15 & $35.

  3. Definitely one of the best events of the year! It's fun, it's wholesome, the cookies are delicious and the proceeds go to charity. it's the perfect counter-point to Santa Con

  4. Hands down one of the best events in NYC. You can’t beat the quality and variety of the cookies, and those working the event are so nice. You can even get a tour of the church (if interested). A wonderful way to start of the holiday season. So much joy and positive energy is felt. It is worth waiting on line. Just dress warmly so that you are not discouraged if you see a line outside. Most definitely get there on Saturday since they just about sold out and not much left on Sunday.
