In case you are feeling the spirit of Halloween this August



The Spirit Halloween pop-up shop is now open on Third Avenue between 13th Street and 14th Street (just like last year).

What to expect inside the shop? The Spirit website has everything for you to not look like your favorite "Stranger Things" characters. For instance:

  1. During the last week of JULY, I spotted an area designated for Halloween candy at CVS. WTF? Fall isn't here for another five weeks.

  2. Coca-Cola is starting to market its Christmas-themed beverages - Cinnamon Coke and Winter-Spiced Cranberry Sprite.. They'll be available in stores beginning September 30th. 'Tis NOT the season, but that never stopped corporate greed before!

  6. Michaels (a terrible store, I know, but needed some crafty things) has a full on fall/Halloween set up with haybales and all the other decorations you must have.
