Despite health crisis, critics persist

Spotted at the Grafton, 126 First Ave. between Seventh Street and St. Mark's Place. The Irish pub is temporarily closed during the coronavirus outbreak, as the sign explains in a smaller font size than some would like.

  2. You can read the letter they put on their bars door and window just fine. They also posted the letter on the Grafton's Facebook page. The letter explained the reasons why they are closing and I am sure they are losing a lot of business because of it. These are sad times.

Your remarks and lively debates are welcome, whether supportive or critical of the views herein. Your articulate, well-informed remarks that are relevant to an article are welcome.

However, commentary that is intended to "flame" or attack, that contains violence, racist comments and potential libel will not be published. Facts are helpful.

If you'd like to make personal attacks and libelous claims against people and businesses, then you may do so on your own social media accounts. Also, comments predicting when a new business will close ("I give it six weeks") will not be approved.
