Happy No. 18 to Otto's Shrunken Head

Otto's Shrunken Head, the offbeat tiki bar at 538 E. 14th St., celebrates its 18th anniversary this weekend. 

To celebrate, Otto's has debuted a new T-shirt for sale. 

The bar is open today and tomorrow from 4-11 p.m. here between Avenue A and Avenue B.

    Isn't it older than that? I remember going there in the late '90s? Maybe it was operating under a different name at the time? I could have sworn it was Otto's.

    Happy anniversary Otto's, who took over from Barmacy. Here's to many more years.

    That space was previously known as Barmacy. Closed sometime in 2000, Shrunken Head didn't open for some time later.
