This is a test (really)

Please pay no mind to this post. I'll probably delete it later.

As I reported last month, there's a new Blogger tool for uploading photos and it's awful.

I need to continue playing around with the new templates, and it's best to do so with live posts. Quite strange — talking to myself — why this Halloween-time photo at Beauty Bar on 14th Street is so small and centered on the post ... and there's so much space between the headline and photo.

Anyway, let's play the Cramps! (The embed via YouTube also needs some tweaking.)

  1. The Cramps played some of most electrifying shows I ever saw. The fans went mental from the first song to the last. Lux Interior spilled his guts out every night on stage, part clown, part performance artist, part white trash madman.

    1. Saw them on Halloween '97 at the Roxy in LA, and the next Halloween in NYC, can't remember the venue. Hypnotizing.

    2. Saw them in Boston around 2004 or 2005. One of the most memorable experiences ever. Lux made noises and performed stunts I didnt think were humanly possibly, it was frightening and riveting.

  2. Any chance the horrendous Blogger changes will cause migration to another platform?

  3. in the spirit of the test, I do miss being able to click on the photo and see it larger. good luck

  4. I miss that too, Jill! It's weird — because that function will sometimes work. The first photo in today's Modern Love Club post goes big, but the others don't. And they were all uploaded the same way. Ditto for Steven's pics in the volunteer post.

    I don't get it.

Anyway, I have thought about migrating to another platform. It's a big project and I'm a little short on spare time these days.

  5. Hey, I’m a web developer that has loved this blog for the past 9 years. Would love to help out if you ever wanted to switch platforms. Free of charge obviously

  6. Thanks Joe D!

I might just complain about it for awhile longer!😂

(Even the emojis look weird in the new template!)
