Another chance to hobnob with some Marvel superheroes

"Anchor Point" — code name for the new Disney+ series "Hawkeye" via Marvel Studios — will be filming in the neighborhood again tomorrow.

As the top sign shows, they'll be filming on some different streets than on Tuesday, including 11th Street (a Szold Place mention!) and 13th Street.
On Tuesday, crews were filming along Fourth Street between Avenue A and Avenue B (check out Stacie Joy's photos here).

In the series, Jeremy Renner is reprising his Marvel Universe role as the superhero Hawkeye and his alter ego Clint Barton while Hailee Steinfeld plays his protégé Kate Bishop (also known as Hawkeye). Cameos include the Discount Wine & Champagne's shop on 4th and A...

  1. But will Jolt, Aka pizza dog, be there? Cause really that's the only celebrity I give a f about.

  3. Meh. Hawkeye isn't a superhero, he's just an archer.

  4. A lot of action on C between 10th and 11th today, with a few different cranes. It looks like they are prepping to film in front of Lost City Oyster House.

  5. They'll have to do better than another 10 year ruse to kill off a Robert Downey Jr. character and a bunch of spin-offs to get me to invest any more time into Marvel again!

  6. The noise on C between 10th and 11th last night was off the charts, with endless beeping while going backwards trucks. And a big fight at dawn, that seemed to be between movie workers and tired residents.

  7. I hope there weren't more than 10 people on the set at a time. Nevertheless, it's very brave of these actors to be working during this time, and unmasked. If you ask me, they're real superheroes.

  8. Please tell us if they will be filming on Saturday and where it will happen! Thank you!
