Now that there is a tip line to inform the city of the locations of these weed store, I have a feeling that this store will just disappear.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile, last week I was uptown for an appointment, and on Lexington Ave. in the 60's there's a spot where there's a cannabis store (not legit), then a liquor store, then ANOTHER cannabis shop (not legit) - all in a neat row.
ReplyDeleteIt's weird when a liquor store is the only legitimate business on this particular 75-foot stretch of the Upper East Side! It was also bizarre to see a liquor store with an illegal cannabis shop abutting each side of it.
Point well taken, but have you stood on the corner of 9th St and 1st Ave? I’ve stood there and could see 4 illegal shops by just turning my head from side to side…
