Signage alert: Gemina Coffee Shop on 14th Street

Signage is up now for Gemina Coffee Shop at 424 E. 14th St. between Avenue A and First Avenue.

No word just yet on who's behind this new venture. 

The business takes over for Akina Sushi, which closed in the summer of 2022 after 14 years in service.

    Good luck! Can’t wait to grab a Soy Americano and Almond Croissant with my can of Lima beans, 2002 Guinness Book of World Records and warm Trader Joe salmon being sold on the sidewalk.

    That’s a good location for a coffee shop not much places to get coffee below 3rd Avenue and 14th Street since 787 coffee shop closed on 14th Street

    It's an incredibly charming place. Great lattes and mochas and all the standard (and not-so-standard because what's a Rose Latte or a Lavendar Latte) cafe drinks, wonderful croissants and sandwiches and pastis de nata, great art on the walls and good music. Great place to bring the laptop and work.
