All free car parking spots removed from 2 sides of 7th St between 2nd Av and the Bowery, from St Marks Place between 2nd Av and Avenue A. All the metered spots from Avenue A between 7th St and 14th Streets. And the sky didn't fall, and all the car owners managed to find other places to store their cars. There's no reason not to have the streets cleared off parked cars every weekend May - November.
