We have no idea how long this has been stuck up there... but given the high winds today and expected again tomorrow, it may not be there for much longer.

Heads up about this tent in a tree on 9th Street
Thanks to EVJackie for sharing this photo from Ninth Street between Avenue A and First Avenue. For some reason, there is a tent in a tree on the south street.

A Tree Tent instead of a Tree House?
ReplyDeleteThe tent is there because people put stuff on their roofs and do not secure it! Luckily this piece of flying garbage did not hit a person on its travels. The numbnuts at 310 E. 9 St. have 3 trees in pots on their roof, along with a pergola, chairs, cushions etc. It took them 3 year of pulling the trees off the roof railings after storms for some genius to actually think to secure them.

ReplyDeleteHad a flying flowerpot incident on a stormy day.
Now we have to have the fire dept come by and use a ladder truck to take it down
