Who does the programming for the music in Tompkins Square Park? It's pretty narrow in terms of genres, and doesn't really represent the diversity of the neighbourhood.

ReplyDeleteGet a permit from the Parks Department, pay the fee, bring in sound and book whoever you want for that date. That's what the various promoters and single bands do. I doubt the amplified soloist acts are getting permits but I could be wrong.
