Tuesday's parting shot
A reader-submitted photo from Sixth Street and Avenue B today... Art project? Social commentary? We don't know exactly the intentions of the mystery flagger...

Your remarks and lively debates are welcome, whether supportive or critical of the views herein. Your articulate, well-informed remarks that are relevant to an article are welcome.
However, commentary that is intended to "flame" or attack, that contains violence, racist comments and potential libel will not be published. Facts are helpful.
If you'd like to make personal attacks and libelous claims against people and businesses, then you may do so on your own social media accounts. Also, comments predicting when a new business will close ("I give it six weeks") will not be approved.
Brilliant. A picture is worth a thousand words.
ReplyDeleteA thousand turds
DeleteThere was a flag stuck in a dead rat in Tompkins a couple of weeks ago. Maybe the same person?
ReplyDeletethere’s another flag that says
ReplyDeleteDon’t Tread On Me
I guess our flag is now
Don’t Shit On Me
More boring anti-american midwittery.
ReplyDeleteOn my way!
ReplyDeleteDisgusting.
ReplyDeleteUse that effort to clean it up instead of wasting material. Unfortunately, when I pick up my dogs crap which I don't understand why someone would not do it, I end up picking some other litter or other dogs crap from whatever pig left it behind as well.
ReplyDeleteThe meaning is quite clear….America has gone to shit
ReplyDeleteGone to the dogs! Dogs in food stores, dogs on planes, dogs in doctor’s offices, dogs on buses…
ReplyDeleteI’ve seen a few different flagged turds 😂 thank you to whoever is doing this!
ReplyDeleteConsidering the amount of people that don't pick up their dog's poop on that little stretch on E 6th from Ave C to the post office, they're gonna need a lot more flags....
ReplyDeleteThat being said, I've also seen humans pooping on that block as well...so maybe bigger flags might be in order.
