Today, Whitmans on Ninth Street between Avenue A and First Avenue removed its curbside dining structure.
And before workers had removed everything from the roadway, cars lined up to wait for the newly available spaces (since the pandemic's start)...
how do we get the sidewalk back from the closed Bolton and watt restaurant and A and Houston
ReplyDeleteIt's wild that was ever OK.
DeleteWhat a waste of public space
ReplyDeleteHilarious that cars were waiting for this. So dumb
ReplyDeleteI know. So many damn cars
DeleteWhy is that dumb? There are less and less parking spots, wouldn't you rather a vehicle be parked than circling for a spot or double parking? You make non sense.
DeleteIf you unbuild it, they will come.
ReplyDeleteFree car storage. What a blinding misuse of our greatest public asset in NYC: space.
ReplyDeleteIt's parking, it's not storage. When a space opens up someone gets to use it. Movement, practicality, life.
