An East Village Halloween

Photos by Stacie Joy

Families, friends, and ghouls of all ages were out yesterday — Halloween.

Here are a few shots from around the neighborhood...
... and at the Show Brain-promoted concert in Tompkins Square Park during the afternoon...

  4. By the way can somebody confirm that Washington Square, Park was closed off for the entire evening last night? I know it was closed off around 8 o’clock but I never thought they would do it the whole evening. Maybe that’s why the neighborhood was extra crazy. There were two helicopters circling all evening too, massive police force, and they can’t open WSP?
