This past week, DOT crews painted the new bikes on the recently repaved Second Avenue (to go with the new offset bus lane).
The bike lane appears to be the same size as the previous one... with a few exceptions where it widens in a few spots... to give passing riders more space...

  1. This was the longest Halloween in history. People are running around in costumes since Thursday 10/24. It became so ridiculous.

  2. What? So there is no more car buffer on 2nd Ave? This is insane. It's safer for bikes and also cars need somewhere to park. This isn't candyland.

  3. When they said the 2nd Ave. bike line would be wider, I assumed it would be like the new one on 7th Ave. in midtown which is surprisingly spacious.
