This beautiful fiberglass canoe in good working condition appeared overnight on 14th Street in front of the soon-to-open Whole Foods, between First Avenue and Avenue A. The workers say it is not a store prop and is considered trash. It will make a great conversation piece mounted to the wall of a 250-square-foot studio apartment. Get it before it's gone oar live with regret.

Your remarks and lively debates are welcome, whether supportive or critical of the views herein. Your articulate, well-informed remarks that are relevant to an article are welcome.
However, commentary that is intended to "flame" or attack, that contains violence, racist comments and potential libel will not be published. Facts are helpful.
If you'd like to make personal attacks and libelous claims against people and businesses, then you may do so on your own social media accounts. Also, comments predicting when a new business will close ("I give it six weeks") will not be approved.
I would have also accepted "Today in canoes you can use"

ReplyDeleteI would have taken it over to the East River and thrown it in to see if it would float.
ReplyDeleteMaybe this is a message that we are up sh*t creek without a paddle.
ReplyDeleteI saw some people (students?) on 3rd Avenue yesterday filming 3-4 people carrying a canoe over their heads. It could be the same one!
