An EVG tipster shared three photos this morning (in an email with "Assholes breaking windows" as the subject line)... three businesses on the east side of Second Avenue between 11th Street and 12th Street had their windows vandalized overnight...
It did not appear that the establisments, Vin Sur Vingt Wine Bar, Pangea and Cacio e Pepe, were burglarized

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU LET THE GRAFFITI VANDALISM SPIRAL OUT OF CONTROL!!!
I 100% agree. Why does the local police precinct not take any measures to get rid of the graffiti vandals. It’s seams simple. Place a parked undercover car by the larger walls that ALWAYS get tagged and arrest and set a public example for the individual to reimburse the thousands of dollars to repair this selfish act.
I don't see any graffiti on these 3 storefronts.
My building near the corner of 2nd and 11th has been tagged for 40 years+. The glass on the door with acid. The door with spray. Now the vandals are crawling up the side of the corner building to the 3rd floor. And nobody sees anything. Nobody says anything... because they know the city is too busy... with quality of life crimes in more important parts of the city. The city is run by the real estate & hospitality industries. They come first. And we are stuck with a pol who couldn't care less Carlina.
That is terrible!!! Hoodlums damaging private property like that for no reason at all and now those establishments will have to pay hundreds of dollars for repairs to the windows on top off all their other expenses.
That's terrible! and so expensive to replace. I think that there's window insurance, but it's probably really expensive. Sigh, it sucks.
Because the police do not care?
Shouldn't be that hard to find out who did this. Arrest them and make an example of them. That's the only way things ever change.
People here aren’t gonna like this but
I miss Rudy Giuliani
this is what happens when Proud Boys get pardoned
Not a graffiti fan but you're right, these 3 crimes IMO are not a graffiti crime "thing".
