The parade will be coming along Astor Place and St. Mark's Place early this afternoon, ahead of the DanceFest from 3-7 in Tompkins Square Park.

ReplyDeleteIt is absolute gridlock in the LES/EV today traffic all over from the Bowery to 1st Avenue closed and diverted to side streets with long lines of cars annoyingly blasting away with their horns. Did any of those drivers know about the street dance festive today with the street closures?? What a mess.

ReplyDeleteSanitation trucks to completely block off the avenues. Why? So emergency vehicles can't get by if necessary? Who planned this overreaching maneuver?
