ICYMI: Rabbit Books and Bar has postponed its grand opening weekend after a leak caused by last Saturday's downpour.
"With last weekend's rain came an unexpected water feature in our ceiling," the owners wrote on Instagram. "Sadly we have to do some repairs, so our grand opening is postponed. We're so grateful for all of the support and excitement."
The independent bookstore and café, owned by Marianna Vaidman Stone and her daughter, Emily Samara Stone, is at 170 Avenue A at 11th Street.
A new opening date has not yet been announced.
