Today in urban etiquette signage

Spotted on Seventh Street between Avenue B and Avenue C... a homemade reminder to share the greenery. 

The sign gets right to the point: DOG & MAN PISS KILLS PLANTS & TREES (DOGS CAN’T READ — YOU CAN).

There are even blank spaces to note how long it might take the offending plants and trees to recover. 

Also, dibs on Man Piss for a band name.

    Bands names became so lame in recent years, it feels like all real names were finally taken, and all left is either mundane or sheer stupidity.

    Whenever I said to a dog owner, who was letting their dog shit and piss on a tree or tree bed, by simply saying "curb your dog", I was always met with total aggression, including "fuck you", "you bitch" etc.
    really strange.

    …and we have brand new facilities. May I ask politely; as a woman I ask the men, why do you feel the need to urinate in the park greenery when there are open clean toilets available to you?
