Details about the Lower East Side Arts & Culture Open House tomorrow

FABnyc is hosting its fourth annual Lower East Side Arts & Culture Open House on Saturday (tomorrow!), with 25 neighborhood organizations participating.

The free event will feature live music, poetry, art, workshops, tours and other activities throughout the day. Participating organizations will welcome visitors into their spaces, while others will set up along the East Fourth Street Open Street.

Highlights include ABC No Rio's hard-hat tours of its new building, La MaMa's behind-the-scenes tours, and the Nuyorican Poets Cafe's updates on its reopening plans.

The open house offers a chance to explore some of the neighborhood's arts and cultural spaces, meet local artists and see what these organizations have been working on.

Activities along Fourth Street between Second Avenue and the Bowery will take place primarily from noon to 5 p.m., though individual venues have different hours.

Find the full schedule and list of participating organizations on the FABnyc website. (Here and here.)
