Dumpster of the day

On 12th Street between Avenue A and First Avenue.

  1. I have the distinct pleasure of walking past this every day. The school rid itself of TONS of desks, chairs and chalk boards etc. A few weeks back there were about 30 folks taking chairs and desks to their homes as a reminder of simpler times when your desk simply flipped up to reveal a pencil and some gum stuck to the lid.

  2. Ha! Good point, Alphabet City Soup. And I thought about taking some of that stuff and starting my own school.

  3. I've been passing this regularly. Just a few days ago, they finally got it down to one giant pile rather than taking over the whole sidewalk.
