Lost cats

It has been pointed out over at New York Shitty that it seems to be the season for lost cats...Indeed, I've lost track of how many lost cat fliers I've seen of late...here are three that I took pictures of this past week...

  1. Could this trend have anything to do with all those open windows and doors left ajar that we've been hearing about?

  2. In California they track impending earthquakes by increases in lost pet flyers. Maybe there's a tremor coming!

  3. Aww, as a cat-owner (er, slave), I'm sad seeing these signs...oh, Good Girl's been naughty!

  4. I see stray cats(or household cats) darting around the area all the time..I can never tell if they are one of the ones on the flyer..There are some in Tompkins Square Park and many on east 5th st..They seem like they are trying to go after the huge rats that are everywhere..

  5. @Eden Bee

Some of the rats are bigger than the cats.

  6. That last two were lost from a garden? Maybe what is new is people taking their cats outside, on purpose.
