With western exposure and towering 22 foot high glass windows, the living room will capture magnificent sunsets. This penthouse is part of an absolutely unique and exceptional… building.
You can see for yourself during the open house Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. If you can't make it, here are some renderings...
And, as this rendering shows of 215 Avenue B, BIG changes may be coming to the north end of the block...what, exactly, are those two new mystery buildings to the left of the Copp? Curbed also made note of this earlier, wondering why Stuy Town was replaced "with, uh, an office tower parachuted in from downtown Dallas."
Previously.
see you at the open house.
ReplyDeleteI'll be in the bathroom the full two hours. Oh, wait. There are two bathrooms. Need to bring the intern.
ReplyDeleteWhere is this lovely place? No street lamps, fire hydrants, trash cans, pay phones, traffic lights, parked cars, etc. Only beautiful, beautiful trees.
ReplyDeleteHa! Excellent observations, pinhead. I think it's called The Neighborhood That We Wish We Were Building This In.
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to the Dead End signs, they couldn't add those to the drawing to give it some realism?
ReplyDeleteAnd where all the pharmacy, banks fro-yos, ramen, cupcake shops, and more importantly the Momofoku joint? That's a dealbreaker for me if the building or the neigborhood doesn't have these.
ReplyDeleteWell just great. An extra quarter mil and sales of my pies-in-a-bottle are in the tankeroo! I guess I can forget about beautiful sunsets, towering 2 foot high glass windows, and 22 full bathrooms. Or was that...
ReplyDeleteI thought that the windows were soaring? Or was that the other way around?
ReplyDeleteUmmm. Yeah. Sure.
ReplyDelete$3.85 million to overlook the Pedro Albizu Campos housing project to the east, the glum Stalinist architecture of Stuy Town to the north, the stubbornly ungentrified upper Avenue B to the south, and the low-slung haphazard buildings thrown up along the L subway line to the west.
May as well spend $400 having "I'm a douchebag moron retard" tattooed across your forehead and save the rest of your nearly $4 million. Because the results... well, they'll be the same.
