Something about shopping at Sunny and Annie's makes me feel so .... faint

So many sandwich choices! On Avenue B and Sixth Street yesterday afternoon...in front of Sunny and Annie's...

I walked up to her and said, "Are you a parking ticket? Because you have fine written all over you." And then, "Are you from Tennessee? Because you're the only 10 who I see!"

Then the photographer yelled at me... but seriously, the always-reliable complete stranger standing there said that he thought it was a shoot for a purse -- that thing in her hand. I think it was more about the dress.

Bob Arihood came across another photo shoot yesterday — this one in Tompkins Square Park. (Oops! Same model... just a change in outfits and location...)

"Are you lost ma'am? Because heaven is a long way from here."

"I'm new in town. Could you give me directions to your apartment?"

"Did you just come from Superdive and is that a keg in your pants? Because I'd love to tap that a--."

    "Do you come here often?"

"It's my birthday! How about a birthday kiss?"

  2. Heh.

Well, she seems like the classy type. So maybe Champagne Tuesdays at SD then.

  4. Those idiots were trying to do a photoshoot right outside the front door of 7B yesterday (same model, different outfit), blocking the entrance & the douchebag photographer was yelling a patrons who were trying to go in & out. The audacity of some people! The bartender eventually had to go outside to tell them to fuck off...

  5. Thanks for the comment, Jason. The photog/entourage clearly seemed annoyed with me for standing there taking picturesfor 30 seconds ... The photog seemed like a real ham — thought he was being funny with an Austin Powers-like photo shoot (You're a llama!). But he wasn't being funny.

  7. Thanks, Bob. She looks about 6-8 in your photos! (And only about 6-2 here!)

I really like your black-and-white shots.

  8. those made me chuckle. She is fine but she needs to eat a few salami sandwiches to complete her wardrobe.

  10. She's feeling faint because she is standing next to her equivalent of Kryptonite: food.

  11. The sandwiches at S&A are fucking awesome. I would have been pissed if the photoshoot was blocking my sandwich fix.
