Old bars are going fast...Are the Ukrainian bars on 7th Street between 1st & 2nd still there? Being Ukrainian myself they were too close minded for my tastes, xenophobic really. But I must admit I still miss them.
ReplyDeleteHi Mick. The Blue & Gold is still on 7th Street. Verchovyna Tavern aka George's Bar aka Bar 81 closed in January 2005. Cafe 81 opened in that spot, but they've been shuttered since late September.
