39 Second Avenue for lease

For some reason I can't remember anything ever being in 39 Second Avenue, on the northwest corner of Second Street. At least not in the last few years... Anyway, this prime space is now for lease...



The listings at Winick include a few inside shots...



And, apparently, proximity to the Mars Bar is a selling point...



(But no mention of the Anthology Film Archives, which is across the way...?)

  4. i thought bill tatum purchased this building it was for use as distribution for the amsterdam news.

    i also thought the board of estimate resolution (yes that long ago) was that it be non residential

  6. The building is still in the Tatum family, and I think there were/are use restrictions on it because it sits/sat in an urban renewal zone. Be interesting if Detective Grieve could find out more...
