"The restoration continues. The south and north walls have been reinforced. They are currently working on the center support."
Torres also posted new photos from inside the church on Avenue B at Eighth Street...

Looks rather heavenly...
Your remarks and lively debates are welcome, whether supportive or critical of the views herein. Your articulate, well-informed remarks that are relevant to an article are welcome.
However, commentary that is intended to "flame" or attack, that contains violence, racist comments and potential libel will not be published. Facts are helpful.
If you'd like to make personal attacks and libelous claims against people and businesses, then you may do so on your own social media accounts. Also, comments predicting when a new business will close ("I give it six weeks") will not be approved.
Thanks for the update Grieve.
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome, Melanie. I hope that we can go inside some day to take our own photos!
ReplyDeleteWow. I haven't seen the inside of this church in 30 years. My parents were married there and my brother and I both graduated from St.Brigid's (64 & 73) These interior shots are actually haunting for me and bring back a lot of memories. Wow.
