  1. "magazine-ready" is such a creepy and fascinating compound adjective. you could write an entire article about that term alone.

  5. I'm lost. What in the world is a "California closet?" And no Rock Hudson jokes.

  6. Yeah, I have no idea, BabyDave. I suppose that I'd be pleased for a place with any closets.

  7. I think it's a walk-in closet with custom shoe racks and a self-tanner shower.

  8. They're a manufacturer of high end closets.

Anyway; the thing is done; ...and so it goes.
I just hope the filling-in of that empty airspace that used to be above the former one-story building will now alter the wind flow patterns that carry all of the cooking exhaust from China 1 restaurant, straight into my windows (it would be great to be able to open them again)

  9. Who the hell are the Novgorogradtzes or whatever their name is? Their taste is white-trash. And that has to be one of the ugliest buildings I've ever seen. Probably suits them.

  10. A few weeks ago, the owner of this vertical yuppie ghetto had my vehicle towed from the front of his building. He got the DOT to give me a ticket, which says that I was "blocking a driveway", yet the curb cut in front of this building served the one story garage that these monied transients demolished to make way for their architectural monstrosity! There are NO signs that say you can't park there, but this prick apparently wants his own private parking spot!!

I'm going to fight the ticket and then sue these assholes....
